The Brickton Weekly, August 29, 2014

Welcome back to school! Both staff and volunteers have worked hard these last two weeks painting, cleaning, organizing, and preparing the classrooms and school for the arrival of our students.  We could not have accomplished these many tasks without the gracious support of those who volunteered their time and energy.  Special thanks go to Blair and Elisa Sarkiss, Diane Grassi, John Joyce, Marzena Witomfka, Dave Degand, John Barrett, Karen and Justus Joseph, Anna Olech and alums Christina Calderon, Isabelle Rowland-Weisz, Kira Barrett and Rachel Balster.

Congratulations Megan and Selena!
Our heartfelt congratulations go to Megan White, Children’s House Co-Directress and Selena Brosnan, Lower Elementary Directress, on completing personal professional development goals.  Megan completed her bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Northeastern Illinois University and earned her full Montessori Early Childhood Certification, receiving a
promotion to Co-Directress in Children’s House.  Selena completed her two year internship and academic requirements to earn her Montessori Lower Elementary certification from the Midwest Montessori Teachers Training Center. Congratulations to both Megan and Selena for achieving these professional milestones!
