The Brickton Weekly, January 23, 2015

Thank You Corner
Thanks go to Meg Ricard (Sean Room 107 and Ella Room 104) for sharing her professional organizer tips and tricks with us at the Parent Alliance meeting on Tuesday.  A big thank you to Kevin Wilhite (Emily Room 103) for providing pest control services to make sure the only insects and pests we have are those we want for our classroom pets.

Transition Nights
Is your student in the 2nd or 3rd year of Children’s House, Lower Elementary, or Upper Elementary?  Attend a Transition Night and learn more about the curriculum, assessment, goals and a typical day in the classroom for the next program level straight from the teachers.  Dinner and care are provided.  Please RSVP to Sara by calling or stopping by the office, or emailing her at sara.gregory@brickton.org, so we can plan accordingly.

The Big Leap
Brickton’s Annual Benefit represents the deep commitment we have to our children and the exceptional education they are receiving at Brickton. Our Benefit Committee, made up of parent volunteers, is working hard to create an exciting evening with music, food, drinks, trivia, dancing and our live auction.  The Big Leap starts at 6:30 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Banquets by Morretti’s in Edison Park. The success of this event is enhanced by donations of products and services from our parent community. Here are four ways you can help make The Big Leap a success:
1.      Promote Big Leap Advertising Opportunities
2.     Procure items from donors using this Procurement Letter for Donors
3.     Win free tickets through our participation raffle Family Procurement Raffle Letter
4.     Donate items to the online auction using this Donation Form.Consider products or services, such as:
- Sharing one of your special talents by offering a themed dinner party, cooking class, or personal consulting services.
- Contributing homemade crafts, such as jewelry, woodworking, stained glass, a quilt or even a festive goodie basket.
- Donating tickets to a sporting event, timeshare, or vacation home
We look forward to seeing you at The Big Leap!
